Is The “Make Money Online” Niche Too Saturated To Make Money Online

makemoneyonlineblogsA very interesting question I’ve seen in the last couple of days is if you could still make money in the make money online niche. Many people say no it would be a big mistake to even try it, while other people say yes it is still profitable.

Everybody knows that the make money online niche is a very popular niche. Who doesn’t want to make extra money online? It’s one of the biggest and in demand niches on the web. There are thousands of people daily who enter the make money online niche and eventually fail to succeed.

Although the make money online niche is fairly saturated, I still think there are good opportunities to make money in the make money online niche. Just think about it why would this niche be so crowded? Ah yes, because it’s a profitable niche.

At the moment people who are trying to blog in the make money online niche are quickly realizing that this niche has a massive amount of competition and are scared away because they think it’s impossible to make money in the saturated make money online niche. I personally think the bigger the competition, the more money there is to be made, because there will be a larger audience wanting to look at your site, right? Now just think about this, let’s say you’ve got a blog about make money online and after a lot of hard work your blog has reached the top page in Google search engine, you’ll be getting at least 2000 unique per day or maybe more and if you can convert that traffic into buying products, referrals or clicking on ads than you’ll be making a nice sum of money.

The other problem I’ve heard from a lot of people is that webmasters with make money online blogs don’t earn a lot of money with pay per click, because most of the people who visit your blog are webmaster themselves. That means your competitors visit your blog and I can guarantee that no way in hell they will click your ads or do something where you will earn some money. I honestly can say that although this is true, if you can rank high in search engines you won’t be having this problem anymore because 80 % of traffic from search engines are always newbie’s and mostly don’t really know much about the make money online niche. It’s most likely they will follow your instructions and do as you say because they think you’re an expert in your niche.

So, before you start thinking that making money in the make money online niche is impossible I would like to tell you to think again, because there are still people entering the make money online niche and becoming a success.

Instead of saying to yourself that you won’t make it in this saturated niche, try to rise up to the challenge and put some hard effort into what you’re trying to achieve. Don’t forget everything involves hard work. Just be patience, keep on working hard and you will see some satisfying results at the end of the day.

I believe the possibilities to success are endless, if developing the right game plan.

So do you think the make money online niche is to saturated to make any money?

Its a saturated market alright – but clearly, there’s still money flowing within the niche.
And I also agree with you there, to be successful at it requires hard-work and some patience. It also requires you being creative too.

I believe this niche will always be popular one, as the term ‘make money online’ will always entice.

Yes and no. Yes it is saturated, but I believe that it will never be to saturated to not make some money with it. As far as trying something that has never been done…. Good luck.

Until everyone is online making money; I wouldn’t say the market is saturated. The problem is everyone takes the same angle – it’s insane. You couldn’t sell more iPods than Apple because they’re already dominant in the market (forget they make the things!).

The money is in the ‘Long Tail’. Keyword research is important when breaking into a competitive market.

So what your basically saying is we should target sub niches in popular niches like the make money online niche. If you are saying this then I completly agree with you. If you do find a nice little sub niche it could be very profitable, but it takes good research and time to find a profitable niche and needs lots of promoting like every website needs to rank high in Google.

I suppose that niche is well over saturated. I am not in it to beat anyone but to improve myself. I don’t quite understand why bloggers don’t help each other out by click an ad or two. There is room for all of us to succeed.

At any rate I wish everyone the best of luck! :)

Your point is really noticeable. Lots of blogger blogging on make money online or work at home. Because this is very popular niche. The market is going saturated. But if we can make our blog like John cow we have chance to win the game.

  10. TechChunks Says:

Well, let me disagree with the point here, Gary! I believe, it is the quality of one’s blog that is much more important in driving in traffic (and some $$$) than the niche. Show me a niche that is not saturated at the moment. Unless I’m blogging about “nuclear reactors” or “3-headed bulls”, chance is great that my blogging niche is already satuarated and I have thousands (millions?) of bloggers who are blogging in the same niche.

I believe, instead of going and finding a niche that is undiscovered (and that also means my visitors also will have to FIND for it since it is unsaturated, and hence probably unpopular), it is better to concentrate on the quality of my posts and try to stand out in the crowd. My 2 cents…

    Great to know your opinion.

I agree with that every popular niche will always be saturated, but there are and there always will be some profitable niches out there that are still to be discovered.

Also as you stated that the quaility of the blog is more importent, I also agree on this, but if a saturated niche has all quality blogs on the 1st page of Google it will be very difficult to overtake them and rank higher. You will need thousends of quality back links to beat them. It will take months or even years just to get to that position and make some income. It’s worth a try, but do not expect quick results.

Anyway nice to know your side of the story on this.
